Supply Chain Labs Fellowship is a 6-month structured program designed to make startups build a strong foundation for scale, and make them ready for growth capital. Our mission is to help startups get ready for the 2 most important aspects of their journey : customers and investors.

And we not only just help the startups prepare, we walk the journey as well, by leveraging our relationships with potential customers and co-investors.

Quantifying the market potential in the long-term:

How the core competencies and assets built in the short and mid-term can be monetized to expand the revenue, and thus return on capital. This is super important for raising capital, and this is one area that most startups need guidance on.

Refining the strategy and converting it into a business plan:

Most founders get caught up in the daily grind of managing the day-to-day challenges of the business. Our structured framework enables founders to do a quick but comprehensive plan based on a strong strategy. The key components of this are about deciding at what stage what fundamental shifts should happen in the business to capture the scale potential of the business.

This often also requires thinking on how the adjustments made via these deliberations need to be factored in the current short-term and mid-term plans that are already underway. I.e. how to make the turn while still accelerating.

Making the business ready for exponential growth

BRAND, MARKETING, SALES AND COLLATERALS: Experts provide founders perspectives on their current brand communication, marketing and sales approach, and provide guidance on creating a structured marketing and sales program supported by appropriate collaterals and communications materials.

BUILDING OPERATIONAL MATURITY: Helping founders dissect every aspect of their business and the journey of every stakeholder with the objective of identifying what can be done to build operational efficiencies in the business. Program Structure

Month 1 and 2

APreparing the roadmap for foundation building followed by accelerated growth (thorough mentoring sessions with experts and experienced folks)

  • Recalibrating the long-term potential

  • Brand and collaterals review
  • Two-week program by MIT on fundamentals of supply chain
Month 3

Sharpening the tools (Via inputs by marketing and sales experts)

  • Refining collaterals
  • Finalizing GTM Plan, including database, tools, outreach plan and measurement
  • Testing and adopting an appropriate CRM tool
Month 4

Customer Connects

  • Implementing the GTM plan – testing, refining and finalizing with the objective of getting metrics right for investor pitch.

Month 5 and 6

Fund raising (Assisted by SCL Team)

Cohort 2019

Held in 2019, our first Supply Chain Fellowship program allowed us to work with our cohort of 9 startups.
